Michael Koch have developed a reputation for excellence as members of the New York Group for Plastic Surgery. Now they offer their services at the Institute at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor NY.
The Institute offers a full range of cosmetic surgeries, including a revolutionary new liposuction technique, called AQUALIPO. Patients can also choose from a wide variety of non-invasive cosmetic treatments. All performed in our new, state-of-the-art, private surgery suites by our board certified physicians. Our doctors have made major contributions to the field of plastic surgery and also specialize in breast reconstruction. Dr. C. Andrew Salzberg

Dr. C. Andrew Salzberg specializes in cosmetic surgery and breast surgery, including breast reconstruction. He is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Dobbs Ferry Hospital and Westchester Medical Center and also practices at Hudson Valley Hospital Center.
Dr. Salzberg has been named one of the "Top Doctors for Women from Coast to Coast" by the consumer guide, "America's Top Doctors," published by the Ladies Home Journal. Also, he was bestowed the honor of being named one of the top doctors in the New York Metro Area since 2002. Other notable achievements include:
- Board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1989)
- Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology at New York Medical College (1987)
- Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Castle Point VA Medical Center (1987-1997)
- Past President of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel
Dr. Salzberg was born in New Jersey and attended Montclair Academy and Ithaca College. He graduated from the University of Florida School of Medicine with his Medical Doctorate in 1981. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City (1981-87) and Plastic Surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center (1984-87).
Dr. Salzberg has presented papers regarding plastic surgery internationally and his research activities include breast reconstruction, pressure ulcer prevention and treatment, nerve repair, wound healing, skin substitutes and laser applications in skin care.
Dr. R. Michael Koch

Dr. R. Michael Koch is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and specializes in cosmetic surgery, breast surgery and microsurgical reconstruction. He received his plastic surgical training at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and also completed an additional yearlong Fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Koch is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the New York Medical College and the Chief of the Microsurgery and Replantation service at the Westchester Medical Center and practices at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. He is a diplomate of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of many well-known professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Born in London, raised in Perthshire, Scotland, and transplanted to Southern California, Dr. Koch attended the University of California at Santa Barbara (BA 1989) and Hahnemann University School of Medicine (MD 1993). Prior to his training in plastic surgery he completed an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC as well as a Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Koch has a strong belief in sharing his surgical skills and expertise overseas and has made numerous trips to Africa, Vietnam, South America and the Philippines to provide plastic surgical care. He is also an avid bicycle rider and has a keen interest in the culinary arts.
