About the Program
Based upon your doctor’s recommendation, you may be referred to our monitored Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. You will have an initial evaluation to assess your physical ability as well as help you establish personal goals for your therapy. Based on the information from your initial evaluation, our highly qualified and compassionate staff will design an individual exercise program specific to your medical needs.
Your program will last approximately 12 weeks. For Cardiac Rehabilitation, you will exercise three times per week for about an hour. Your heart rhythm, heart rate and blood pressure will be closely monitored. For Pulmonary Rehabilitation, you will exercise two times per week. Your heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation will be closely monitored. We will send monthly progress reports to your personal physician to keep him/her informed about your status.
Located on the lower level of the Hospital's Wagner Pavilion, our patients find a state-of-the-art cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation department utilizing the latest and most modern equipment in a warm and friendly environment.
