The Center for Sleep Medicine at Hudson Valley Hospital Center

The Center for Sleep Medicine at Hudson Valley Hospital Center offers the most advanced sleep diagnostic services. It is located in one of the most modern facilities with all the advanced technology that is part of HVHC’s recently completed $100 million expansion.
At The Center for Sleep Medicine, we can help to diagnose more than 80 sleep disorders including the more common disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, insomnia, periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD) and restless leg syndrome (RLS). Sleep disorders can interfere with your ability to get a restful night’s sleep and can lead to serious health risks and other medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, stroke or weight gain.
The Center for Sleep Medicine offers state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, comfortable, hotel-style rooms caring and credentialed staff, complimentary snacks, continental breakfast and free parking.
You will arrive for your sleep study at the scheduled appointment time and spend the night in a private bedroom in our sleep center. Our experienced sleep technicians will monitor your sleep patterns, breathing abnormalities and EKG. The test is monitored by technicians throughout the night and your results are then analyzed by our physician. A report will be sent to your physician for review and a personalized treatment plan will be developed to help improve your sleep.

At the Center for Sleep Medicine at HVHC we practice patientology.
“patientology” – noun 1. Combining the latest technology with award-winning care and the heartfelt conviction that a patient is ALWAYS a person first.
